Meet Adam Bowling

A small business owner, Adam Bowling operates independent retail pharmacies in Eastern Kentucky. Adam lives in Middlesboro with his wife, Becky, and their two children, Harrison and William.
Since taking office in 2019, Representative Adam Bowling has prioritized fiscal responsibility in state government.
- Adam has also upheld Kentucky’s responsibility to our retirees,
- Supported historic investment in education and infrastructure, and
- Voted to lower Kentucky’s income taxes (House Bill 8, 2022).
Adam Bowling continues to safeguard our freedoms and way of life in Eastern Kentucky. He has sponsored pro-life legislation (such as House Bill 67 in 2020). He has blocked threats against religious freedom (such as House Bill 29 in 2022) and has protected our Second Amendment rights (House Bill 29, 2022).
Adam plays a key role in Kentucky’s fight against substance abuse. He sponsored the Kentucky Recovery Ready Communities Act (HB 7, 2021) to help struggling families and communities in recovery.
Adam has recently sponsored legislation to create an economic development fund (Kentucky Product Development Initiative, HB 745, 2022). The development fund will ensure our rural counties have access to (and the chance of obtaining) state economic development dollars. The Kentucky General Assembly allocated $100 million to the fund (HB1, 2022).

Adam Bowling works on behalf of residents in House District 87. His time in office is spent fighting for opportunities and protecting our share of state funds. Since 2019, Adam has sponsored legislation that aims to –
- Cut taxes and keep money invested in our communities (House Bill 8, 2022).
- Get the economy back on track and promote pro-business policies (House Bill 1, 2022).
- Carve out better resources for police and first responders (House Bill 141, 2022).
- Address community health care needs (House Bill 282, 2022), especially regarding military veterans (House Bill 381, 2022).
- Implement harsher penalties in cases of the abuse of a minor (House Bill 263, 2022).
- Support individuals fighting addiction (House Bill 7, 2021).
- Developing better mental health services (HB 349, 2022).
